Wooden Ships Comments on this traditional clinker launch

A traditional clinker launch built in the early 1950s, we believe on the Isle of Wight. She has room for an inboard engine and two rowing positions. A sound and pretty boat with nice lines, she would make an ideal winter project for somebody who is looking to explore their local river or coast next spring.

She was originally fitted with a Stuart Turner petrol engine however a modern small diesel would fit very nicely.

She now requires the replacement of several ribs and some planking. She is being sold without an engine.
