The Aber was designed by Francois Vivier and inspired by the traditional French fishing boats of Brittany. This boat has been built by a Devon based boat builder to a very high standard in strip plank Western Red Cedar. The Aber is a fine little sailing dinghy, easily handled and light weight that will turn heads wherever she goes. Complete with a full cover, road trailer and launching trolley

Edgar Cove clinker launch

Ian Oughtred Sooty Tern Rowing Skiff


Ian Oughtred Sooty Tern rowing skiff built from an Alec Jordan kit. The Sooty Tern is a slightly stretched version of the Arctic Tern design, a sailing beach boat with a large following. This particular boat was built for rowing and has no rig, the owner lives near the Thames and wanted a light weight but capable rowing skiff, able to carry 3 rowers as well as kit and crew.

Clinker Launch


Wooden Ships comments on this clinker launch Built in the 1960's by Stanley Goodwin and Son of Kidderminster, this boat has undergone a comprehensive restoration in the past year and is now ready to go and is looking for a new owner who will enjoy her this summer. She has the benefit of a cuddy to protect from the elements and two full length berths. She is the perfect boat for exploring rivers and lakes.

Ian Oughtred Arctic Tern


Professionally built Arctic Tern designed by Ian Oughtred. Planked in Scottish Larch all copper rivet fastened. Gaff cutter day boat
