This uncompleted project has been built to a design by Didier Presles with the original intention of undertaking ocean voyages including trips in Polar regions.  Professionally built by Chantier Nautique Pichavant Yachting in Brittany.

 

This is a very high capacity hull with a big beam and large depth in hold making her a very spacious and comfortable cruising boat.

Construction

 

Hull

Strip plank epoxy construction using Oregon pine and mahogany.  Laminated mahogany frames and floors all closely spaced making this an incredibly strong hull.

 

Decks

Marine plywood deck on laminated deck beams

 

 

Rig 

Designed to have a bermudan cutter rig on alloy spars.

 

 

Accommodation

 

Berths

8 berths plus the saloon settee berths.  Aft double cabin plus a single quarter berth, 4 pilot berths and a single in the fore peak.

 

Saloon

Unusual layout with the saloon forward of the mast, the large beam of the design allows this to be done and still have a good size saloon.

 

Galley

Galley is to starboard amidships

 

Heads
