Wooden Ships Comments on this 4 ton Hillyard

4 ton Hillyard, designed and built by Hillyards of Littlehampton and launched in 1959.  In present ownership since 1991, she has been well cared for with new plywood decks professionally fitted in 1996, keel bolts and rigging replaced as necessary and a list of ongoing work that has kept her up to a reasonable standard.

She has sailed out of Cardiff for the last 27 years, cruising around the Bristol Channel and has been a great little boat for this job.  A solid little cruising boat in very reasonable condition available for a very moderate sum of money
