Wooden Ships Comments on this Holman 26

Holman 26 built by Uphams of Brixham in 1963.  Kim Holman was one of the best know English yacht designers from the period with many fine yachts of all sizes to his name.  His 26 footer was a stock design to appeal to a wide market and it proved very successful.  These boats are easily handled but have good headroom and 4 berths, one of the best small cruising yachts available.

This yacht has had some major work in the last 2 years including new standing rigging, a rebuilt engine and new keel bolts as well as various plank repairs and a general paint up.  She is not immaculate but is a solid little cruising boat, with all the important parts refitted, that could be sailed and enjoyed this summer.
